“ "O Thodoros" is a very honest tavern with food and service of great value..!! With tables inside and outside, in a historic area of the town, it keeps a traditional image inside-out with antique items for decoration, old-fashioned style. However, the toilets, for example, are modern and where very clean, which is an indication of showing respect to the customer..!! We ordered 3 starters, 3 main dishes, a salad, bread, and a bottled white wine (Malagousia, Alpha Estate). Everything was realy worth its price, nice taste and good quality of incredients. The bill: €77. Not bad at all. They where serving about 50 people at the time and the service was quick and very polite. Highly recommended..!! ”
“ Such an authentic Greek Taverna. I lunched there two days in a row. I started with stuffed grape leaves because they are a little hard to come by at home. Note that they were vegetarian with rice and spices fillings only. I do prefer ones with minced meats, but these were awesome. Both mains came with fries, chicken souvlaki, and beef meatballs the second day. House wines were €5/half liter, and a very small dessert was gratis at the end. I would return any chance I got. ”
“ What a wonderful dining experience! Reservations are necessary as it is quite popular. Fortunately, we were lucky enough to get a table just as one was leaving, so the three of us squeezed into a two-person table to enjoy a great meal during our only evening in Thessaloniki. The server was very friendly and provided helpful recommendations. We enjoyed the Greek salad, grilled mushrooms, and some fried fish. The prices were very reasonable, and they even offered complimentary desserts at the end! ”

We tried the salad (delicious), pork belly, and meatballs - everything was cooked perfectly. The house wine is very good and cheap, I think it was €7 for one litre. Highly recommend this place ”
